Cookie Policy

1. What this covers. This policy explains which cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage) dearmyai.com uses, and how you can control them. It complements the Privacy Notice.

2. Essential. Always on, because the site cannot work without them. They are not used for analytics or advertising.

• Session cookie: keeps you signed in to your account. Deleted when you log out or when it expires.
• cookie_choice (local storage): remembers whether you chose “Accept all” or “Reject all” (essential cookies only).
• theme (local storage): remembers light or dark mode.
• dm_lang (cookie): remembers the website language you chose. Kept for 1 year.
• dm_ref (cookie): set when you open a partner's link, so that a new account created within 30 days is credited to the partner who referred you. Contains only the partner code and a random click ID. First party, not shared with anyone.
• dm_aff_sess (cookie): keeps partners signed in to the partner portal. Only set for partners who sign in there. Kept for 7 days.

3. Analytics and marketing. Only set after you choose “Accept all”. They help us understand how the site is used and measure our campaigns.

• Google Analytics 4 (_ga, _ga_*), provided by Google Ireland Ltd.
• Meta Pixel (_fbp), provided by Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.
• Hotjar (_hjSessionUser_*, _hjSession_*), provided by Hotjar Ltd., Malta, to see how visitors use the site (heatmaps, recordings).

4. Before you choose. We use Google Consent Mode v2 with all storage set to “denied” by default. Until you accept, no analytics or advertising cookies are written.

5. Changing your choice. Use “Cookie settings” in the footer at any time to change your choice. You can also delete cookies in your browser settings.
